Human Performance Lab
The Human Performance Laboratory supports on-site validation of wearable biomedical technologies using healthy volunteers, enabling testing at rest or during physical activity. It is equipped for simultaneous multi-modal physiological monitoring, including EEG, ECG, blood pressure, sweat analysis, and other metrics. Approval has been obtained from the Department of Engineering Ethics Committee to conduct validation of wearables developed at the IBI on healthy volunteers. Staff assistance is available for trial design and volunteer recruitment to facilitate robust human studies.
